As the former founders, owners and operators of a number of diverse and successful specialty general agency and insurance company businesses, we have a unique understanding of how to deliver and structure the right capital transaction for owners seeking to exit or recapitalize their companies. In addition to real-world operating experience, our principals have proven transactional experience having successfully formed, funded, built, managed, acquired and divested numerous insurance businesses.
Where We Operate
With our capital partners, we are able to look at a wide variety of transaction sizes, from $5M to $150M in revenue. A majority of our investment transactions will be in the lower middle market segment (>$50M in revenue) where many specialty insurance businesses (agencies & carriers) are either slightly too small, too mono-dimensional or too early stage for bigger capital providers to engage with. We love interesting & challenging insurance businesses built by passionate entrepreneurs who are ready to exit or who have reached a tipping point in their company’s evolution.

We find profitable company/platform acquisitions, partnerships, or successful underwriting teams. ReAlign can start, manage, and buy successful insurance platforms and ultimately exit those platforms to maximize value for its investors.
