ReAlign Capital Strategies was formed by Align Financial Group and Rockbrook Advisors to:
- Establish a unique ” vertically-aligned” specialty insurance platform that will acquire or invest in specialty insurance carrier(s) and profitable general agency business to create an optimal platform structure capable of maximizing the amount of risk-immune margin that can be captured from each insurance dollar;
- Identify, acquire, and make investments in middle-market specialty general insurance agencies (“GA’s”) and leverage the combination of controlled books of well-underwritten program business and carrier capacity to significantly improve overall platform financial dynamics;
- Structure right-sized, efficient capital solutions for program administrators looking to exit or recapitalize;
- Identify talented underwriting teams looking to participate in the value created from producing superior financial results as part of an entrepreneurial insurance enterprise;
- Respond to an underserved segment of the investment marketplace in which transactions are too small, early stage, challenging, or mono-dimensional for traditional private equity and capital markets participants; and
- Provide our capital partners with access to proprietary investment opportunities in specialty segments of the P & C insurance market that will generate very attractive, risk-adjusted, investment returns.
Over the last 15 years ReAlign principals have formed four insurance businesses and successfully grown each business organically and through strategic mergers & acquisitions. ReAlign will serve as the vehicle to drive further capital strategies and maneuvers.
